UMLC Board

Our Volunteer Board

Upper Merion Lacrosse Club is run entirely by dedicated parent volunteers who work together to create a positive, organized, and development-focused experience for players from Kindergarten through 8th grade across our boys and girls programs.

The board oversees everything from coaching development and player growth, to finances, facilities, equipment, registration, and communications. Each role helps ensure that our athletes have a safe, fun, and competitive environment to learn and love the game.

We are always looking for parents who want to get involved and help strengthen our program and community.

Most board roles require just a few hours per month, with slightly more involvement during the season.

Board Member Descriptions

President

Leads the overall direction of the club and helps coordinate the board’s efforts. Works with board members, coaches, schools, and the community to ensure the program runs smoothly and continues to grow.

Vice President

Supports the President and helps manage coaching operations. Serves as a key contact for coaches, players, and parents during the season.

Secretary

Keeps the board organized by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and recording meeting notes.

Treasurer

Manages the club’s finances including budgeting, payments, and financial reporting to ensure the organization operates responsibly.

Girls Youth Director

Leads the girls lacrosse program by supporting coaches, coordinating teams, and helping ensure a great experience for players and families.

Boys Youth Director

Leads the boys lacrosse program by supporting coaches, coordinating teams, and helping ensure a great experience for players and families.

Website Director/Registrar

Manages the club’s website, registration system, schedules, and email communications with families.

Equipment & Fields Director

Ensures teams have the equipment they need and coordinates practice and game field scheduling.

Board Member At-Large

Supports key club activities such as uniforms, team photos, social media, fundraising, and special projects.
